In a project to modernize communication for the National Water & Sewerage Corporation training centre, a working organisation with over 1000 employees and owned by the government of Uganda, Paxt Ltd supplied a HARMAN AKG wireless microphone system.

The conference room designed for training staff and global video conferences was brought to life using 12 AKG Perception wireless vocal sets and 12 AKG Perception wireless presenter sets.

The installation was completed in March and installed by Sight & Sound Ltd, Paxt Ltd’s distributor in Uganda. It was imperative the AKG microphone system installed was on an entirely different level from the original system.  Minish Shah, Project Engineer for Sight & Sound Ltd said, “We chose this system because of the outstanding reputation of AKG.  The customer requested a high quality wireless system which is what we provided.”

NWSC was formed in 1972, and begun it’s service supplying water and sanitation to urban areas of Kampala, Entebbe and Jinja. After creating a successful program NWSC now supply over 22 towns throughout Uganda.
